Japanese Skits

After watching the skits, it was very interesting to see how our cultures handle the situations differently. You guys were very calm and willing to talk about it. You were very understanding and happy to figure things out quickly. Here, I feel like we are very loud and defensive and not willing to admit when we are wrong. It was good to see how each culture handles this type of situation and how it will be settled. The skits you guys did were great!

Wasing Dishes

All of your skits were really good. Its nice to see how your culture handles situations and its interesting to see that it is a very different way of handling things. In our culture, the dishes would pile up until someone got upset and snapped because of the mess. I wish we could handle it as easily and nicely as you guys.

Japanese Students Washing Dishes Skits

I can not believe how short and nice everyone was in those skits! It is very hard for me to believe that someone can be so easy going during a conversation like this. I get so angry that it takes a lot of control for me to not be really upset about confrontation, but it seems like you all do it so easily. Is it as easy as it looks?

I really liked your skits! It was cool how you took an idea that our class started, and remade it in a way that represented the ways of your culture. There are definitely differences in the ways our cultures would handle this situation because as Americans we are more straight forward in what we expect from others.
